1976 –
Receives a doctorate in conservation of Japanese painting at Tokyo University of the Arts. Studies under Masaaki Miyasako. Establishes unique expression method that integrates the technique of indigo dying with back coloring and crumpling paper of Japanese painting. Her name has been often found on the list of prize-winner at Inten exhibition since 2003. Once Nakamoto’s retro-inspired motifs come across her delicate brush strokes, sensitive combination of colors and constructional ability, it opens a new sphere to bring the feeling of theatrical presence to the viewer. The artist teaches at Keio University from 2009 to 2010. Moves to Paris in 2010, acquires The “Skills and Talent” Card visa (Carte Compétences & Talents) from French government in 2013. Her works are shown at the international art fairs in Russia, Singapore, Korea, etc.
